Preface:

Knowledge of quality improvement and patient safety for health professionals is substantially limited across a wide range of training, degrees and specialties; moreover, one study showed that trainees are unable to self-assess their own knowledge deficiences.

In this section, we provide education and training in these two areas, giving staff access to the latest in curriculum design, and the flexibility to study in the mode most convenient, or effective, for them. Training formats, including traditional lectures, small group workshops, study camps, elearning, drill, practice examples and more.

From 2010, we have added the WHO Patient Safety curriculum in an endeavour to standardize these efforts at an internationally accredited level.
